2. Copyright and Usage Rights

• In principle, the copyright of images belongs to the creator (contributor). Therefore, purchasing an image does not mean purchasing the copyright, but only the usage rights.
• Images purchased from CrowdPic can be used for any purpose except 'Image Usage Restrictions'.
• Images purchased and downloaded can be used for life without time restrictions.
• All purchased images have a 14-day re-download period, and you can re-download the image unlimitedly at Login → Profile (top right) → [Purchased Images]. However, after the re-download period expires, you must purchase the image again.
• Downloaded images can be freely retouched and edited for use.

※ Unauthorized screenshot and scraping of watermarked thumbnail images and all images exposed in the service without purchasing through normal methods is prohibited. Such infringement is a serious violation of copyright and may result in legal action.

3. Usage Scope

[Commercial Use] Images

'Commercial use' images are safe images with resolved property rights and portrait rights, and can be used for commercial purposes such as advertising, marketing, and promotional content.

[Non-Commercial Use] Images

'Non-commercial use' images have unresolved property rights and portrait rights, and cannot be used for commercial purposes such as advertising, marketing, and promotional content.

If 'non-commercial use' images are used for commercial purposes, property rights and portrait rights violations may occur, and the user is responsible.

When using non-commercial images, you must indicate the source to prevent complex copyright issues.

4. File Formats and Prices

Important Notes Before Purchasing Image Files

• JPG files sold with illustration files are automatically converted from the original uploaded illustration files to JPG on the site. Due to this, JPG files may have color differences from the original illustration files. If you want an accurate JPG file, please purchase the illustration file (AI/PSD/EPS) and convert it to JPG separately.
• JPG files are downloaded exactly as shown in the thumbnail, and font (text) editing may be difficult.
• Illustration files (AI, EPS, PSD) are created and sold based on Adobe programs. To view and edit downloaded illustration images, you need to install Adobe programs. Refunds are not available if downloaded illustration images cannot be opened due to Adobe programs not being installed.
• If illustration files do not open, the installed Adobe program version may be too low. If you are using a genuine Adobe program, version updates are possible. CrowdPic recommends installing genuine Adobe programs, and version downgrades or refunds are not available if purchased images cannot be viewed due to illegally installed Adobe programs.
• Fonts used in images are design samples only and are not provided together. Please purchase genuine fonts or change to other fonts. We are not responsible for any legal issues arising from not replacing fonts.

5. Licenses

(*1000 copies = 1000 sheets / 1000 pieces / 1000 units)

Important Notes When Purchasing Extended License

• When creating and selling or distributing secondary (printed) works such as product packaging, postcards, frames, etc., if the production quantity exceeds 1,000 copies, you must purchase an Extended License image.
• Images purchased with an Extended License can be used to provide images to secondary users who use the service/platform on a specific service/platform.
  However, secondary users can only use images in limited forms and purposes provided by the service/platform.

6. Image Usage Restrictions

• All images from CrowdPic cannot be redistributed / resold.
• Cannot be used for AI learning, analysis, processing, etc.
• Images cannot be used for pornography, adult advertising, entertainment establishments, loan sharks, prostitution, urology, plastic surgery, etc. that are contrary to social morals and general sentiment.
• Portrait images cannot be used in exaggerated advertising where models endorse specific products.
Examples

• ① Used in plastic surgery before & after comparison photos
• ② When false information about the model is recorded
        ex.) When the image model is used as if using a specific service
        ex.) When pseudonym, false identity, etc. are displayed on the image model
• ③ Other uses in exaggerated advertising and false advertising
• Portrait images cannot be used for purposes that harm the model's personality rights.
Examples

• ① Purposes that defame others or use obscenely, harming reputation
• ② Synthesizing or reprocessing body, face, etc. with third-party photos
• ③ Dating services, finance, hospitals, and other services that may harm model's personality rights
• Images cannot be used for exhibitions / contests, logos, symbols, trademarks, service marks, brands, etc.
• Redistribution or resale of purchased content in original form by uploading or scraping to web hard drives, blogs, cafes, SNS (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) is prohibited.
• Registration of intellectual property rights for downloaded content and secondary works is prohibited.
• When using purchased images for delivery (providing to secondary users), the original source of purchased images cannot be delivered simultaneously. If the client creates secondary works using the original content after delivery, all responsibility lies with the member who delivered it.

7. Font Usage Precautions

8. CrowdPic Usage Precautions

• Member rights cannot be transferred or gifted to others.
• Buyers must comply with 'CrowdPic Terms of Use' and 'Buyer Guide' when using CrowdPic services.
• All information such as content keywords, copyright, portrait rights / property rights, usage scope (commercial use / non-commercial use), and text used in images is provided by contributors, and we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.
• All content is provided on a non-exclusive use basis, and separate negotiation is required for exclusive use.
• Some content may require additional securing of portrait rights and property rights, so if used for important purposes, please contact CrowdPic before purchasing. The obligation to verify information lies with the buyer, and we are not responsible.
  [N Seoul Tower Image Usage Precautions - Effective from June 14, 2023]
  For photos showing N Seoul Tower, illustrations depicting N Seoul Tower, and calligraphy with text related to N Seoul Tower, to use these images without property rights issues after purchase, you must undergo review by YTN, the owner and property rights holder of N Seoul Tower, regarding usage purpose and method.
  Even if N Seoul Tower is partially exposed or very small, review is required, and especially when using images commercially, review is mandatory.

• If there are concerns about usage restrictions or difficulty in judgment when using content, you must inquire with the company or copyright holder (contributor) of the image before use. Especially for portrait content use, usage restrictions may be more sensitively applied, so please inquire with the company or copyright holder (contributor) before using important portrait content.
• When use that violates Image Usage Restrictions is discovered, the customer using the image must promptly stop using the problematic image according to CrowdPic's guidance. In addition, if damage or harm occurs to the company or copyright holder of the image due to use that violates usage restrictions, the customer using the image must compensate for the damage and harm.

9. Refunds

• Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are not available for purchased images.
• Partial refunds are available for unused credit amounts.
• Promotional and additional bonus amounts are not calculated in partial refunds of remaining credit.
• When refunding, the amount excluding fees incurred during payment will be refunded.
