When members of CrowdPic order content or use various services on CrowdPic (www.crowdpic.net), we collect minimum necessary information as required items for smooth order and service reception, payment settlement, and to provide convenient and beneficial customized information to members.
All information provided by members will not be used for purposes other than those mentioned above, and if the scope or purpose of use of collected information changes, we will seek prior consent from members.
The Privacy Policy is based on Article 16 (Collection and Handling of Personal Information) through Article 18 (Rights of Users) of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), and aims to enable members to use CrowdPic more safely and comfortably based on trust.
Purpose of Processing Personal Information
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent will be taken in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
1. Website Membership Registration and Management
Personal information is processed for the purposes of confirming membership registration intention, identification and authentication for providing membership services, maintaining and managing membership qualifications, identity verification under the limited real name verification system, preventing fraudulent use of services, various notices and notifications, and handling complaints.
2. Provision of Goods or Services
Personal information is processed for the purposes of providing services, sending contracts and invoices, providing content, providing customized services, identity authentication, age verification, payment and settlement of fees, and debt collection.
3. Complaint Handling
Personal information is processed for the purposes of verifying the identity of complainants, confirming complaint matters, contact and notification for fact-finding investigation, and notifying processing results.
Guide to Collection and Use of Member Information
1. Items and Methods of Personal Information Collection
The following items are required, and other items are optional.
- Name (real name and company name)
- Current email address
- Nickname
The following information may be additionally collected for withdrawal of sales revenue and tax reporting.
- Account holder name
- Bank name
- Account number
- Contributor's real name and mobile phone number (information for identity verification)
- Resident registration number (deleted and destroyed after one-time tax filing)
The following information may be additionally collected when registering through social accounts.
- Naver: ID, nickname, gender, age group, birthday, profile image
CrowdPic collects personal information through the following methods.
- Membership registration through the website, inquiry emails, prize event applications
2. Types and Scope of Use of Member Information Collection
Personal information provided by members is collected and used only to provide optimized services to members (utilized for development of new services and marketing advertising).
First, for the use of CrowdPic, basic information such as the member's real name, email address, and user password is required.
Furthermore, for the provision of new and advanced specific services, additional information may be collected through individual and collective surveys based on the member's voluntary participation and consent, or changed service content may be notified via email.
By registering as a member, you are deemed to have agreed to receive such information via email.
Members can refuse to receive emails at any time.
Personal information collected through the above methods is not used for purposes other than the purposes announced or specified at the time of the service or other survey in principle.
However, exceptions are made in accordance with Article 17 of the Act if the member agrees or in the following cases:
- When necessary for fee settlement according to service provision
- When necessary for statistics preparation, academic research, or market research and provided in a form that cannot identify specific individuals
Personal Information Retention Period
1. Personal Information Retention Period
Members' personal information is protected by CrowdPic while using services as a member of CrowdPic, and when the aforementioned purpose of collecting or receiving personal information is achieved (upon withdrawal), member information is retained for a certain period as follows to protect member rights.
The processing and retention period for each personal information is as follows.
A. Website membership registration and management: Until membership withdrawal. However, in case of the following reasons, until the end of the reason
- If investigation or inquiry for violation of relevant laws is in progress, until the end of the investigation or inquiry
- If there are remaining credit and debt relationships from using the website, until the settlement of such credit and debt relationships.
B. Provision of goods or services: Until completion of supply of goods and services and completion of payment and settlement of fees. However, in case of the following reasons, until the end of the period.
- Records on display, advertising, contract content and implementation, etc. according to the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.
→Records on display and advertising: 6 months
→Records on contracts or withdrawal of subscription, payment, supply of goods, etc.: 5 years
→Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years
- Retention of communication fact confirmation data according to Article 41 of the Protection of Communications Secrets Act
→Subscriber's telecommunications date and time, start and end time, other party's subscriber number, frequency of use, location tracking data of transmitting base station: 1 year
→Computer communication, internet log record data, access location tracking data: 3 months
- Retention of identity verification information according to Article 29 of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.
→6 months after the end of posting information on bulletin boards
C. Information immediately deleted and destroyed after one use
- Collection of resident registration number when applying for withdrawal for business income tax filing. Immediately deleted and destroyed after business income tax filing before the 10th of the following month
2. Personal Information Destruction Procedure
CrowdPic destroys the information immediately after the purpose of collecting and using personal information is achieved in principle. The destruction procedure and method are as follows.
- Destruction procedure: Information entered by members for membership registration, etc. is stored for a certain period according to internal policies and information protection reasons under other relevant laws (refer to retention and use period) after the purpose is achieved and then destroyed. This personal information will not be used for other purposes except as retained by law.
- Destruction method: Personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration, and personal information stored in electronic file form is deleted using technical methods that cannot reproduce records.
3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
CrowdPic processes members' personal information only within the scope specified in the purpose of processing personal information above, and provides personal information to third parties only in cases corresponding to Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as member consent or special provisions of law.
The Company entrusts collected personal information to external specialized companies as follows for payment services and tax filing.

4. Technical and Managerial Protection Measures to Prevent Personal Information Leakage
All information on CrowdPic is transmitted, processed, and stored on Amazon Web Server (AWS) and is safely kept and processed. However, if you share a computer with others or use the service in a public place, you must properly log out and close the browser to prevent personal information leakage in public places.
5. Methods for Viewing, Correcting, Deleting, and Withdrawing Consent to Personal Information
Members can request to view, correct, or delete provided personal information at any time. Personal information viewing, correction, and deletion are possible by selecting the "Member Information" menu on CrowdPic and making corrections yourself. For withdrawal of personal information consent, please contact CrowdPic operator email (privacy@crowdpic.net) and it will be immediately deleted through identity verification procedures, and your personal information will be processed so that it cannot be reproduced or used for any reason or method. If you have complaints or opinions regarding personal information, please send your opinions to CrowdPic operator email (privacy@crowdpic.net) and we will take action immediately upon receipt and notify you of the processing results.
6. Installation/Operation and Refusal of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices
What are cookies?
- CrowdPic uses 'cookies' that store and retrieve user information from time to time to provide personalized and customized services.
- A cookie is a very small text file sent by a server used to operate a website to a user's browser and is stored on the user's computer hard disk. Subsequently, when a user visits a website, the website server reads the contents of cookies stored on the user's hard disk and is used to maintain the user's environment settings and provide customized services.
- Cookies do not automatically/actively collect information that identifies individuals, and users can refuse or delete storage of such cookies at any time.
Company's cookie usage purpose
- CrowdPic stores users' preferred settings through cookies to support a faster web environment for users and utilizes them for service improvement for convenient use.
- CrowdPic analyzes service access frequency, visit time, number of visits, etc. through cookies to identify users' tastes and areas of interest and utilizes them for service provision.
Cookie installation/operation and refusal
- Users have the choice regarding cookie installation. Therefore, users can allow all cookies, go through confirmation each time a cookie is stored, or refuse storage of all cookies by setting options in their web browser.
- However, if you refuse cookie storage, CrowdPic service functions may not work properly while proceeding with online contracts such as audit tracking certificates, and the Company is not responsible for this.

7. Personal ID and Password Management
The ID and password you are using are in principle only used by you. If there is no intent or negligence on CrowdPic's part, CrowdPic is not responsible for problems arising from theft of your ID and password or use by others. Under no circumstances should you tell your password to others, and please take special care to prevent personal information from being leaked to others around you while logged on.
8. Customer's Personal Information Manager
The Company is doing its best to enable you to use the Company's services safely. You can report personal information protection-related complaints that occur while using the Company's services to the personal information manager or person in charge. The Company will respond quickly and sincerely to users' reports.

Retention Period of Personal Information
If there are additions, deletions, or modifications to the contents of this Privacy Policy, we will notify in advance through 'Notice' at least 7 days before the revision.
